Beyond the Limit Enterprises, LLC is currently based in New York City and has a core of individual trainers who are responsible for developing and delivering various training curriculums throughout the continental US
We got our initial start in 1985 as a simple service-oriented company, but in 2003 we reorganized to focus on training and leadership development for non-profit organizations, small companies and underserved individual entreprenuers.
Our company President and CEO, Jacob "Jake" Kelly, spent over 20 years as an officer in the United States Army (both active and reserve positions) where he obtained the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. During that time he led countless efforts in organizational development and strategic leadership planning.
Additional, Jake spent over 10 years as a key staff member of several Boys & Girls Clubs (BGCA) organizations throughout the northeast United States. He quickly rose through the ranks from a frontline staff member to a Director of Human Resources and Training.
Additionally, he served as a National Training Associate for BGCA where he developed and assisted staff and volunteers throughout the United States and abroad in improving their leadership abilities and performance at all levels. He received accreditation in more than 10 areas of training and leadership development, including Career Coaching, Train the Trainer, Strategies for Working With Teens, Developing Superior Work Teams, Measuring Program Outcomes, Leadership Development, Guidance & Discipline Techniques, Training & Development of Part-Time Staff and Program Basics.
Jake's awards and recognitions include: BGCA's Outstanding Youth Development Professional of the Year (1994), Distinguished Management Professional (1999), and the Northeast's Leader Development Professional of the Year (2001). In 2008, the Veteran Corporation of America located in Washington, DC awarded him the coveted recognition of "Veteran Entreprenurial of the Year."
Jake holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Sociology, a Masters of Science in Human Resources Administration; and is currently matriculating for a Doctorate in Strategic Leadership.
